Uninstalling the Previous Version

Always uninstall the previous version from the Control Panel:

• Go to the Programs list (Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features) and uninstall the following program: Nectari Business Intelligence.
  
  Note

  The uninstall will kill the BI Service task.

  If there is a risk to interrupt sensible distribution or OLAP Jobs running, manually stop the BI Service and verify that the task BI Service.NetInstaller.exe has ended before uninstalling the program.
  

  The uninstall program of Nectari may ask to reboot the server at the end.

  Important

  It is recommended to restart the server or plan a reboot before installing the new version, as Windows was not able to delete all dependencies.

If you do not reboot the server, manually verify the content of the following folders. Remove any files that could still exist:

• C:\inetpub\wwwroot\WebClient (where C:\inetpub\wwwroot is the root for IIS websites)
• C:\inetpub\wwwroot\CPConfiguratorClient
• INSTALLDIR\Nectari (by default C:\Program Files\Nectari\Nectari)
