Embed Nectari in Acumatica

You can display Nectari inside Acumatica and reach the administration functions, dashboards, reports, and workbooks without leaving the ERP. Copy the Nectari URL, then display it in a dashboard.

On the Nectari server

Update the Nectari server cookies​

  1. On the Nectari server, open web.config in C:\Program Files\Nectari\Nectari Server\WebServer.
  2. Replace the <sessionState> and <httpCookies> elements with these lines:
    <sessionState cookieSameSite="None"/>
    <httpCookies httpOnlyCookies="true" requireSSL="true" sameSite="None"/>
  3. Save the file, then restart Nectari if needed.
Embedding Nectari in Acumatica requires HTTPS with a valid certificate on both.

Copy the Nectari URL​

Copy the main link to embed the full menu, or the link of a view or dashboard to embed only that one.

Copy the main URL​

  1. Log in to Nectari.
  2. Copy the full URL from the browser address bar.

Copy a visualization URL​

  1. In the navigation panel, select Data Models and Views or Dashboards.
  2. Expand the folders and open the view or dashboard.
  3. In the toolbar on the right, expand Sharing and click External Link.
  4. Copy the full URL from the browser address bar.
To pass an Acumatica value to an embedded view, add a filter to the URL.

Embed Nectari in Acumatica​

Create a dashboard​

  1. Log in to Acumatica.
  2. In the sidebar, select Customization, then click Dashboards.
  3. Click + and enter a name for the dashboard.
  4. Next to Owner Role, click the magnifying glass icon.
  5. Under Guest Role, select Administrator, then click Select.
  6. Click Save.

Publish the dashboard​

  1. Click Publish to the UI.
  2. Next to Workspace, click the magnifying glass icon.
  3. Select a workspace, such as Finance or Inventory, then click Select.
  4. Click Publish.

Embed the page​

  1. In the sidebar, select the workspace you chose, such as Finance or Inventory.
  2. Select your dashboard, then click Design.
  3. Click Add a new widget, select Embedded Page, then click Next.
  4. In Source, paste the main URL or the visualization URL.
  5. In Caption, enter a caption, such as Nectari Balance Sheet.
  6. Click Finish.

Add Nectari to the menu​

  1. In the sidebar, click the three dots, then click Edit Menu.
  2. Click Add Workspace.
  3. In Icon, select dashboard, then in Area, select where to add the workspace.
  4. In Title, enter Nectari, then click OK.
  5. Click Add Menu Item, then search for your dashboard and select it.
  6. Click Add & Close, then Exit Menu Editing.

Pin Nectari to the sidebar​

  1. In the sidebar, select More Items.
  2. Hover over the Nectari menu item, then click the pin icon.
