System Requirements
Before installing Nectari your hardware must be properly configured and your operating system must be fully installed and operational.
Server Requirements
The server requirements include the supported operating systems, database engine, and web servers.
- The following operating systems are supported by Nectari for the server components:
- Windows Server 2019
- Windows Server 2016
- Windows Server 2012 R2
- Windows Server 2012
- To install and operate Nectari one of the following supported database management systems is
required:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2019
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016
- Microsoft SQL Server 2014
- Microsoft SQL Server 2012
- Oracle 12c
- Oracle 11g
- Oracle 10g
- IBM DB2Note
Nectari can connect to many data source types (external databases) for data access (ERP, CRM, WMS, etc.). These options will be discussed later in this document.

Note
The hardware requirements depend on the chosen installation architecture and the volume of data to manage. Consult a Nectari specialist for customizing recommendations.
Nectari on a dedicated server typically requires at least:
- CPU: Quad Core 2.8 GHz
- RAM Memory: 8 GB (16 GB for 100 users)
- Hard Disk Drive: 5 GB available space (Website + Services + Nectari Database)
Data Warehouse requires much more space according to the size of the ERP datasource and the number of Cubes. Subsequently, processing large amounts of data will use more memory.
Example: when using the Enterprise Management template that contains 6 Cubes, we noticed that about 80% of the size of Enterprise Management database is usually needed, with (temporary) peaks, during the load, of twice the tables size. loaded.
Distribution: in case you plan to schedule a large amount of distribution, we highly recommend to install the distribution on a dedicated server that has at minimum the following:

The end user workstations require one of the following web browsers. Microsoft Excel is needed to use the Nectari Excel Add-in.

NoteGoogle Chrome is the favored web browser for Nectari version 8.0. and later.
