Open View/Data Entry

The Open View feature lets you get access to the Nectari views defined for the data model you are using in Nectari Excel Add-in . You can make changes to the view and save them, including data edit.

Only the Data Entry option will update the Excel sheet as well, in case of data entry, without having to clear the cache and refresh the formulas.

This is useful when you need to visualize the data that the data model returns directly in Nectari, without manually opening the web browser, authenticating and navigating to the view under the data model.

To open a view:

1. Select a cell in the Excel spreadsheet containing a Nectari formula using the data model you are interested in.
2. Click Open View or Data Entry in the Add-ins tab OR right-click to select the option.
   

3. Select a View and click OK.

   The selected view will open in the Web Interface, including the settings menu which provides all the options over the view.
