Backup Strategy

Once Nectari has been deployed and operating successfully, a backup strategy must be put in place.

The backup strategy could be similar to the one in place for your main data source database, contact a technical specialist to obtain help with your specific situation.

The Central Point has two elements: the Shared Folder and the Nectari Database.

Important

It is highly recommended to save both of them synchronously to have a healthy backup.

You should also run frequent backups of your Nectari Data Warehouse database if the main data source database is too big to allow easy rebuild, or if the Nectari Cubes contain history data from some other systems.
