Dedicated BI Account

The Dedicated BI Account is a Windows user account named NecBIAccount that is dedicated for the IIS websites installed with Nectari Server.

When installing Nectari Server, it is chosen by default because it makes it simpler for all customers to use that dedicated account instead of having to create their own custom account beforehand. In addition, it is created with a password that doesn’t expire and can solely be used for Nectari making it more specialized for the application.

It has the same role as a custom account since it is also a Windows user account, but contrary to a custom account, this account is created by the Nectari Server installer if it is requested during the installation.
