Required Permissions

The following permissions are set up when installing Nectari Server:

• If the Web Server is installed, full control rights on the folder where it is installed.

• If the Scheduler is installed, full control rights on the folder where it is installed.

• Full control rights on C:\ProgramData\Nectari.

• Full control rights on C:\ProgramData\Nectari\Settings\NectariUserSettings.xml if it already exists.

• For Excel Add-in distributions, multiple permissions need to be set up (manual setup of those permissions is described in detail under the section Configuring the Excel Add-in Distribution Worker):

  • Launch and activation permissions for the Microsoft Excel Application component service.

  • Access permissions for the Microsoft Excel Application component service.

  • Configuration permissions for the Microsoft Excel Application component service.

  • Full control rights on C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile and C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile.
