Uninstalling any previous version (if required)

Important

Uninstallation only applies to versions older than 2022 R1.

If you already have installed Nectari, you will have to uninstall it.

  1. Check the port number of the BI Service because it may not be the same as the one we will use (4504) during the Installation process (refer to Installing Nectari for details). If the port number is different, you will get blocked by the firewall.

    1. Open File Explorer and navigate to the configuration file: C:\Program Files\Nectari\Nectari Server\Server\BIService.NetInstaller.exe.config.

    2. Check the port number at the <baseAddresses> tag in order to reuse it for the installation.

  2. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
  3. Select Nectari and click Uninstall.
  4. Follow the wizard steps to remove the software.
