Logging In with SSO

Note

In the Cloud, the ADMIN and ADMCA accounts will not be able to be mapped to an OAuth provider. If it is required to log in with an ADMCA account, create a Normal User and set the Is Administrator flag to True.

Logging in Nectari

After configuring and activating the provider in the Authentication page, you can log in as follows:

  • Click Log in to use Basic Authentication and enter your regular user name and password or specify a domain.

    OR

  • Click one of the External Accounts: If OAuth and/or SAML 2.0 providers have been configured, you will be directed to a Log in page with a button for each configured SSO account.

Note

You can disable the Web Server basic authentication form when there is an active OAuth or SAML2 provider setup. If this is disabled, you will only see active External Accounts.

Logging in the Excel Add-in

After the configuration in the Web Server is completed, you can log into Excel Add-in using the OAuth or SAML2 providers.

On the Login pop-up of Excel Add-in, two radio buttons are available:

  • Basic Authentication: This option allows you to log in with your regular user name and password or with a specified domain.

  • External Account: This option allows you to log in using one of the available SSO accounts from the drop-down list for the selected Central Point.
