General Use

Nectari is a web-based business intelligence application that gives you access to your enterprise data through dashboards, workbooks, and interactive charts. It works inside your enterprise network, online, or in the cloud, so you can reach your data from any device with a browser.

The interface is built around a central workspace where you open and interact with your content. Your data comes from connected sources like ERPs, CRMs, and other databases, and updates in real time or near-real time depending on the connection. The features and content available to you depend on the permissions your administrator has set for your account.

Supported browsers

Nectari works in all major browsers. Google Chrome is recommended for the best experience. Older browser versions may cause display or performance issues, so make sure your browser is up to date.

Display scaling and screen resolution

If the interface looks cropped or hard to read, your display scaling may be set above 100%. Many laptops default to 125% or 150% scaling, which can push interface elements off screen. Use the following settings for the best result:

  • Scale: 100%
  • Display resolution: 1920 × 1080

To adjust these settings, right-click your desktop and select Display settings. A sign-out or restart may be required for the changes to take effect.

Where to start

Manage your account

Before you can use Nectari, your account needs to be activated. Once active, you can log in with your credentials and manage your password at any time. If you lose access, password recovery is available directly from the login page without contacting your administrator.

Interface overview

The interface is organized around a few key areas you will use every time you open Nectari. The navigation panel lets you move between your content, the workspace is where you open and interact with views, dashboards, and workbooks, and the mobile interface adapts the layout for smaller screens.

Visualization features

These features are available across all visualizations in Nectari. They cover the common actions you will use regardless of the content you are working with, such as saving your work, sharing it with colleagues, refreshing the underlying data, and using sample mode to preview content without affecting live data.
