Sage Intacct

The Sage Intacct template provides a ready‑to‑use set of data models, views, dashboards, and workbooks to help you quickly analyze your Sage Intacct data. It supports multiple deployment scenarios, whether you’re connecting directly to production, working with a replicated data warehouse, consolidating several companies, or using the Nectari Cloud.

For non‑Nectari cloud integration and consolidated deployments, the template also supports accessing financial data in real time, allowing Nectari to retrieve Sage Intacct financial information on demand. This option is not available for Cloud deployments.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

• Sage Intacct: A supported version installed.
• Destination database: A target database, preferably matching your Sage Intacct database collation.
• DataSync: A supported version installed.
• Installation package: The latest package from ShareFile.

Installation scenarios

Choose the scenario that matches your environment:

Scenario	Description	When to choose
Non-Nectari Cloud Integration	Uses DataSync to synchronize your data to a warehouse hosted outside the Nectari Cloud. The template reads from this synchronized source. Supports accessing financial data in real time.	For organizations that want to manage, store, and report on their data independently, without relying the Nectari Cloud.
Consolidated	Uses DataSync to centralize data from multiple Acumatica companies into a unified warehouse for group‑level reporting. Supports accessing financial data in real time.	For organizations managing multiple Sage Intacct companies that require consolidated or group reporting.
Nectari Cloud	Syncs data to the Cloud through DataSync. The template connects directly to the Cloud‑hosted data warehouse. Credentials are provided after Cloud provisioning.	For distributed teams or organizations that prefer not to maintain local servers.

Sales and Finance OLAP cubes

If you have the Data Management add-on and plan to use the Sales and Finance cubes, extra steps are required after the standard installation.

Installation steps

Start by selecting step 1 in the scenario you want to follow. Be sure to read each page carefully and follow the instructions as written. Use the button at the bottom of each page to continue to the next step. The Installation Progress on every page shows where you are and what remains.

Scenario 1: Non-Nectari Cloud Integration

Use DataSync to synchronize your data, then configure Nectari:

1. Configure Sage Intacct
2. Create the source connections
3. Create the destination connection
4. Configure the global variable
5. Import the synchronization extractions
6. Synchronize the account balance
7. Schedule the extractions
8. Set up the data source in Nectari
9. Import the template
10. Add custom fields (optional)

Scenario 2: Consolidated

Set up DataSync for multi-company consolidation:

1. Configure Sage Intacct
2. Create the source connections
3. Create the destination connection
4. Configure the global variable
5. Import the consolidation extractions
6. Synchronize the account balance
7. Schedule the extractions
8. Set up the data source in Nectari
9. Import the template
10. Add custom fields (optional)

Scenario 3: Nectari Cloud

Use DataSync to send your data to the Cloud and complete setup online:

2. Build and run the extraction
3. Synchronize the account balance
