Hardware Performance

The performance issues could be caused by the server’s hardware characteristics either before or after Nectari was installed on the server.

If there are performance issues before Nectari is installed on the server, you should contact a technical specialist to check the source of those issues. They could be caused by:

  • The network material and/or configuration in place (VPN, LAN, and so forth). You could try to run some queries within each type of network.
  • An overload on the server, which could mean that its sizing is not accurate.

If the performance issues only appear after Nectari’s installation on the server, it is necessary to perform Nectari optimization (as previously explained in Performance as well as in Database Engine Performance) before looking at the server’s sizing.
