Connections
The Connections module is where you configure how DataSync reads from your systems and where it writes the results. It is the first step to configure before you can run any extraction.
DataSync moves data in three steps. A source connection pulls data from a system such as your ERP, CRM, or database. DataSync then processes and transforms that data. Finally, a destination connection writes the processed data into a data warehouse, where it becomes available for reporting and analytics. Both connection types rely on connectors, which handle the actual communication with each system and make sure data maps correctly between DataSync and the connected system.
Always create the source connection first, then the destination connection.
