Connections
The Connections module is where you configure how DataSync reads from your systems and where it writes the results. It's the first thing to set up before you can run any extraction.
DataSync uses two types of connections that work together. A source connection is where DataSync reads data from, like your ERP, CRM, or database. A destination connection is where DataSync writes the data after extracting and transforming it, usually a data warehouse. Both connection types use connectors to communicate with the underlying systems.
important
You always create the source connection first, then the destination connection.
