It covers the full profit path from revenue down to net income, with each KPI showing a percentage change from last year. Use this dashboard to review overall financial performance, compare this year against last year by segment and month, and monitor how margins trend over time.
It follows the income statement structure from top to bottom. The KPIs show where you stand right now, the bullet charts compare this year against last year across two dimensions (segment and month), and the combination chart adds a time based view of profitability with net income, sales, and margin % plotted together. The overall focus is on year over year change, so every component reflects both current and prior year data.
How to use this dashboard
- Track the full profit path from revenue through COGS, gross profit, operating expenses, EBIT, and net income.
- Compare this year vs. last year by segment to see which areas are growing or declining.
- Review monthly performance to identify which months are ahead or behind last year.
- Monitor margin trends using the combination chart to see how net income margin % moves alongside sales and income.
