Open Invoices

The Open Invoices data model tracks unpaid invoices and their aging status. It includes measures for aging categories (1 to 30 days, 31 to 60 days, 61 to 90 days, 91+ days), total invoice amount, current outstanding balance, and due amount. Use it to monitor what's owed, how overdue it is, and what cash flow looks like based on upcoming payments.

How to use this data model

  • Monitor aging balances across categories to see how much is current, slightly overdue, or significantly past due.
  • Plan for cash flow by reviewing outstanding amounts and payment timelines to understand upcoming cash requirements.
  • Track overdue invoices to identify which vendors have the largest unpaid balances and how long they've been outstanding.
  • Compare balances by vendor to see how outstanding amounts are distributed and which vendors represent the biggest obligations.
