GL Financial Summary
The GL Financial Summary data model combines core financial statements and account details from the general ledger. It includes trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, and account balance views that show beginning and ending balances, debits and credits, and period over period changes. Use this data model to review financial position, verify accounting accuracy, and track how accounts move over time.
How to use this data model
- Review multiple financial statements in one place instead of running separate reports.
- Compare account balances across periods to spot unusual changes or trends that need investigation.
- Verify debits and credits balance before period close using Trial Balance views that highlight discrepancies.
- See both summary and detail levels by switching between financial statements and underlying account balances without leaving the data model.
