Cash Conversion Cycle

The Cash Conversion Cycle data model provides the underlying data used to calculate cash conversion cycle metrics across dashboards. It includes measures like COGS (trailing twelve months), net credit sales (trailing twelve months), revenue (trailing twelve months), and inventory values (this year monthly, last year monthly, YTD, and YTD running), filtered to the current and previous fiscal year. Use it to support calculations related to how quickly inventory, sales, and payables convert into cash.

How to use this data model

  • Review inventory values across time periods to understand how stock levels change month over month and year over year.
  • Track COGS, revenue, and net credit sales on a trailing twelve month basis to feed cash cycle calculations.
  • Compare current year against last year using monthly inventory values to identify shifts in cash conversion timing.
