Financial Advanced KPIs

The Financial Advanced KPIs data model provides the underlying data used to calculate advanced financial KPIs across dashboards. It pulls posting level detail from the general ledger for the current and previous fiscal year, combined with a full account hierarchy including account groups, categories, segments, sub accounts, main accounts, and account types. It also maps accounts to reporting groups through the account to account group relationship.

How to use this data model​

  • Review the account hierarchy to understand how GL accounts are structured across groups, categories, and segments.
  • Verify account mappings to make sure accounts are correctly assigned to reporting groups, which directly affects KPI accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot KPI values on dashboards by tracing calculations back to the posting level data in this model.
