Invoice History
The Invoice History data model covers completed invoice transactions with both financial and inventory data. It includes measures like taxable and non taxable sales amounts, freight costs, sales tax, cost of sales, quantities shipped, ordered, and backordered, unit price, unit cost, extension amount, and invoice total. Use it to review past sales activity by customer or by item.
How to use this data model
- Analyze sales by item to understand which products generated the most revenue and how quantities vary across transactions.
- Compare costs against revenue using cost of sales, unit cost, and sales amounts to evaluate profitability at the transaction level.
- Review sales history by customer to see what each customer bought, how much they spent, and how their activity changed over time.
