Production Management Header

The Production Management Header data model provides a work-ticket-level view of Sage 100 production activity. It includes work ticket identifiers and statuses, parent item information, production and due dates, quantities ordered, planned, completed, and remaining, completion percentage, and production costs across materials, labor, overhead, and other categories. Use it to monitor production progress, compare actual costs against original budgets, and analyze work ticket activity over time.

How to use this data model​

  • Monitor work ticket progress using status, production dates, quantities ordered, planned, completed, and remaining, and completion percentage.
  • Review production costs across materials, labor, fixed overhead, variable overhead, and other cost categories.
  • Compare actual and budgeted costs to identify work tickets with material or labor cost variances.
  • Analyze production activity over time using work ticket dates and related year, month, and week fields.
  • Review production by parent item to compare quantities, progress, and costs across manufactured products.
  • Track open, released, estimated, and closed work tickets using the work ticket status code and description.
