Low Stock
The Low Stock data model tracks items that are at risk of running out of stock. It includes measures like quantity on hand, quantity on purchase order, quantity on sales order, quantity on back order, quantity required for WO, quantity on work order, reorder point, quantity available, and action quantity. Use it to identify items below reorder thresholds and plan replenishment.
How to use this data model
- Identify items below reorder point to see what needs to be reordered before stock runs out.
- Review demand against supply by comparing quantities on sales orders and back orders against what's on hand and on purchase order.
- Factor in work order needs using quantity required for WO and quantity on work order to account for production demand alongside sales demand.
