The Multi Bin Location data model focuses on bin space usage and capacity. It includes measures like utilized bin count, empty bin count, bin capacity utilization rate, average items per bin, bins at capacity count, and overflow items count. Use it to monitor how bin space is being used, identify bins that are full or empty, and spot overflow situations.

How to use this data model​

  • Monitor bin utilization to see how many bins are in use, how many are empty, and what the overall capacity rate looks like.
  • Identify overflow items to catch situations where items exceed bin capacity before they cause issues.
  • Review average items per bin to understand how evenly inventory is distributed across locations.
  • Check bins at capacity to find locations that are full and may need rebalancing.
